Ancient-19th/early 20th century, Egypt, Morocco and the Near East.
The scarab a sacred Egyptian beetle in ancient times, represented rebirth and resurrection. We framed this gorgeous blue faience scarab with sterling sheet. The hamsa (Khamsa or hand of Fatima) is a protective talisman for Muslims, Jews and Christians. This perfect little silver one was hand etched as they all were. We backed this piece with riveted sterling sheet. The fabulous stone Near Eastern seal, maybe Mesopotamia, show for sides of different images, enigmatic and allusive. Magic at its best and most beautiful
