This silver Saharan cross, or Boghdad, is a stylized hamsa (hand), an amulet protecting against the evil eye. It is the wear and patina, the sparkle through the patina, that is so stunning about this charm. The very talented Khadija, in our Marrakech atelier, beautifully wove the cord and around the cord, she hand stitched the Italian leather to perfection.
