A beautiful hand cut shell from the Naga people, not too long ago closed off from the rest of the world. Jewels visited Nagaland in the early 1980s just as they opened their borders and began her collection of the most spectacular shells, beads and amulets. Jewels was able to find two of these smaller amulet shells. This one has incised stripes. The one shown on the model does not have the incised designs.
