These very traditional hair ornaments were made with glass, agate or resin (early bakelite). This group of resin charms are the color of amber, a most coveted material. The wear and patina of these ornaments are also very similar amber and therefore also very desirable. They are light as well so you won’t want to take them off.
The tops are copper over sterling clips. Please advise should you prefer post or hook tops.
