Early 20th century, Morocco
Amazigh (Berber) hand etched fabulous charms. Jewels matches these in size not always design, so each is unique, all perfect. Both are high silver content and wonderfully worked: a hamsa in the center of one and the other in the formof a pomegranate, We backed them with riveted sterling and the made the sterling clip tops.
Don’t discount them because you might think they are your grandmother’s clips. Ours are unbelievably comfortable!
A note about the silver. The amulets are a high grade silver and therefore shine and sparkle through the etching and patina. The photographer came woefully short of conveying the true beauty of them.
