Jewels collects these shells, currency, for the patina and brightness of the surface. It is rare to find one this large and so level. The ground is a glowing white, glassy-like and smooth from 100+ years of wear. We encased the shell in sterling giving it a more contemporary look. The chain too of course is sterling.
