The shell is a most wonderful African trade shell. It was held, traded, worn and restored (because it mattered!). It is all this patina Jewels seeks and loves, the touch and value of the people before.
We stitched the shell to fine soft black leather, in a way one would find on a camel or mule pack, for safe keeping and beautification. The chain of course is sterling.
Think Prada or Chanel suit; or maybe a nod to Yves Saint Laurent in Marrakech.
