These fabulous Czech made glass beads were specifically made for trade in Mali. These are also known as wedding beads as they were presented to the bride on her wedding. In our Marrakech atelier we made the woven cords, a technique perfected, beyond perfection (may the gods not strike us down!) by Khadija.
