The gorgeous sculptural wood drops are the stopper tops of wood kohl (eye makeup) jars. Over time they got separated and Jewels finds them in the stashes of old dealers in the markets. Sometimes, the keen ones, know the kinds of things Jewels likes and they will come to her with their finds. These two have such wonderful patina and are so smooth to the touch. We capped them with sterling and also made the sterling embellished tops.
Don’t let the terrible image of the earrings fool you. The silver is sterling and it shines, as on the model.
