Early-mid 20th century, Mali
These European made glass beads were made for trade in Mali. Usually these “wedding beads” were presented to the bride on her wedding day. More often than not they are very colorful. We find the clear beads, also of this smaller size, sublime. The very fine hand woven cord is a new design Jewels came up with this year for earrings. Gorgeous!
