Amber, the gem of Morocco- or one of the top gems, at least. People have bought homes with these old wonderful beads and woman’s dowry would be of great value with these. Unlike the Baltic amber these beauties are like butter. These particular beads look like paintings of the desert cliffs. You can almost taste it. We made French hooks with gold fill wire.
