These wonderful shells were worn in the hair which explaind the beautiful patina. Great attention wasi paid to the carving of designs just for more beauty. All of these shells are uniquely shaped, often cupped making them perfect for rings and a very challenging job for our silversmith. Notice what a fantastic job he did on this piece.
