A universal image,…. or lack of image? A void? Everything and nothing?
The anklet is a hollow bronze form with raised form that look like stitching, as if it were leather. Bronze casting of the finest forms has a very long tradition in India and Pakistan. The anklet was most likely used in dance or ceremony as it rattles when shaken- in a good way. This object is an art form; its beauty, that comes from simplicity and use. We custom made the stand.
