An early 20th century Saharan leather charm worn by a person or an animal for protection. A long time ago Jewels had a similar one that she opened to see what was inside. It was a beautiful piece of paper with a hand written request to “protect me from the wolves”. That piece was probably worn by a goat or sheep.
