19th – early 20th century, Tiznit, Southern Morocco
These beads are perfectly big, that is, just enough. They are remain true to their origins and yet we westerners won’t look like we’re trying too hard. The necklace is elegant and bohemian. The beads are traditional enamel and silver work that goes back further than
the established Tiznit region. The chain is sterling, hand wrought in Jewels’ Santa Fe atelier.
